器挽き教室の様子
器挽き教室は２日間です。
初日は脚踏みロクロと刃物の使い方に慣れてもらい 少し感触を体験してもらいます。
２日目には器を挽く感触をつかみ始め 自分のペースで徐々に器の形を削りあげます。
その挽いている時間は無心の境地になって 静かな時を体験できます。
椅子作りと違って 器挽きは 深い深い世界です。
クラフトハウスの器挽き教室は機械で挽くのではなく 人力ですので また 一味違うテーストの作業になります。
一日ずっと前進を動かすので 新陳代謝が良くなり そういう意味で良い疲労感が訪れます。
